Well-orchestrated upgrade
Dr. Jay Patel, Radiologist and Breast Imaging Section Chief at Quantum Radiology, and his colleagues successfully navigated the upgrade from IMPAX to Enterprise Imaging in the fall of 2019.

Here’s what Dr. Patel had to say recently: Adapted from video testimonial, September 2022
I am quite impressed by AGFA and their staff. I think one of the strengths of this company is their people and their attention to detail. They definitely focus on the customer and I wouldn’t be speaking about this candidly if I didn’t feel that way. The transition from IMPAX to Enterprise Imaging for us was fantastic. I attribute that pretty much wholly to the AGFA staff who made things smooth, well-orchestrated, and well thought out ahead of time.
A couple individuals at AGFA were able to be there with us at the workstation during the go-live to help us work out exactly how we like to look at mammograms, outline every step, save it to our profile, and that let us fly. The transition was really smooth and it just reinforced my belief in this brand and this company as being an entity that cares about what they’re doing.
The EI platform allows us the tools and mechanisms to communicate better with our colleagues to improve patient care.
Flexible to the needs of multiple radiology groups
AGFA cares about their customers and whether it be transitions to upgrades or new improvements, they’re always there. They’re always on the floor with us, ready to roll. They trained all the radiologists in the first couple days as to what to do and how to navigate the new system and I really appreciated that on the floor; the all hands on-deck contact with the AGFA staff.
We work at many different sites. We cover six major hospitals, over 20 outpatient clinics, and countless other places that we work for breast imaging. We might have 50 plus radiologists working at the same time during the day. The EI platform allows us the tools and mechanisms to communicate better with our colleagues to improve patient care. If people have questions when they’re on-call or when they’re on a specific rotation that’s covering the ER or inpatient service and I’m reading mammograms, they have the ability to contact me with the collaborator tool, share a case with an accession number or a medical record number, or through the XERO viewer and just say, “Hey, can you take a look at this case?”
That allowed us to collaborate better. Real work, real time. And honestly, I look at all the help that we’ve gotten and I feel like I really don’t know how I could be more efficient on a system. I really appreciate AGFA for all they do.
