Sydney Adventist Hospital enhances MRI Appointment Utilisation & Patient Care through Foxo and AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Platform
Foxo Technology Pty Ltd (“Foxo”), in collaboration with Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAN Imaging) and AGFA HealthCare, is excited to announce a ground-breaking enhancement in medical imaging services and communication within SAN’s Radiology & Nuclear Medicine department (SRNM). This partnership marks a significant milestone in modernising SAN’s Radiology & Nuclear Medicine department, demonstrating improvements in operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
In a recent development, Foxo’s new integration with the AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Platform transforms the way radiologists at SRNM can interact with their colleagues and referrers. This integration facilitates contextual communication directly from AGFA’s software platform to clinical support staff and other clinicians, enhancing collaboration, administrative support and decision-making. Furthermore, the integration empowers SRNM’s radiographers to communicate within context to radiologists for protocoling, leveraging the AGFA and Foxo integration. This will streamline the workflow, reduce delays and interruptions, to provide high quality and efficient patient care.
The collaboration has not only optimised the MRI booking process but also maintained high levels of MRI safety screening – ensuring optimal patient care during the initial implementation phase.
AGFA HealthCare’s Regional President for ASPAC, Jamie Osmond, reflects on the achievement: “We are proud of this new partnership with Foxo, which has resulted in improved workflows for the clinicians at SRNM – delivering life in flow.”
