Live Event: AGFA HealthCare demonstrates steadfast commitment and engagement to industry at the KLAS Summit in Utah.
Continuing their engagement and valued partnership with KLAS Research, plus optimizing the incredible achievements awarded for 2024, AGFA HealthCare representatives Mark Burgess, Suzanne Hoffman and Kyle Souligne are pleased to share the latest news from the KLAS Enterprise Imaging Summit, which started today in KLAS’s home state of Utah.
Taking place over 2 days, KLAS Research welcomes the imaging community to the Grand Summit Resort for multiple networking opportunities, keynote speaker sessions from some of KLAS Research’s leading executives and insight sessions from clinical and IT leaders.  The summit also offers a series of round-table discussion panels, where individuals from healthcare organizations will share their recent successes.
Today we saw Insights Manager for KLAS Research, Spencer Corbett, talk about trends in Enterprise Imaging, particularly around service line expansions which are a high priority for organizations in the short-term landscape. We also saw industry input from Cheryl Petersilge MD, MBA (President and Founder of Vidagos, an enterprise imaging strategy firm), Jeff Agricola (IT Clinical Applications Director at UNC) and Karissa Rothkopf (Executive Director, IT Clinical Strategy at Froedtert Health), who shared where they have expanded their imaging strategies, and lessons learned from incorporating high-energy service lines – such as POCUS, ophthalmology and digital pathology. Offering their insights on Artificial Intelligence, Carrie Berlin (Chief Information Officer at Regional Medical Imaging) and Douglas Gentile (Chief Health Information Officer at University of Vermont Health Network) also gripped delegates with an inspiring piece on taking advantage of new technologies in the evolving market.
In the frame of the event, KLAS Research publishes its KLAS Enterprise Imaging report, where AGFA HealthCare can be proud to be reported as a solid partner in Enterprise Imaging, resulting in AGFA HealthCare’s Universal Viewer being awarded Best in KLAS in 2024.
