Empowering the flow: exclusive Radiologist interviews show clinicians sharing “my life in flow”.

At AGFA HealthCare, we are transforming the delivery of care – supporting healthcare professionals across the globe with secure, effective, and sustainable imaging data management. Our focus on creating an exceptional experience through the power of technology has profiled us as an Empowerer in industry; we have reached the podium where we can radiate a life in flow to the market, and importantly, to our valued customers.

What is flow?

The Flow theory is a psychological concept that was first introduced by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi in 1975*. It is defined as the state of being completely absorbed in an activity, where one’s skills are matched with the challenge at hand. Since then, business consultants have conducted extensive research on the flow theory, and its applications in various fields – such as education and business.

According to Csikszentmihalyi, the conditions for entering flow are concepted as “perceived challenges, or opportunities for action, that stretch but do not overmatch existing skills. Clear proximal goals, technology and human.”

Industry colleagues are no strangers to AGFA HealthCare’s drive – That’s life in flow is an integral anchor to our company standards – this intuition stages our investment, drive and ambition as a class-leading Enterprise Imaging partner.

New for 2024, we are delighted to show true leverage of flow within our customer insights. Hosted by Chief Clinical Information Officer for AGFA HealthCare, Dr Nick Spencer, we have extracted some key insights from Enterprise Imaging users, illustrating how they find their life in flow in a series of videocasts.

Part 1: Dr Dan Fascia introduces his life in flow.
