Discover a “life in flow” in Perth at RANZCR 2024

AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging

Discover a “Life in Flow” in Perth at RANZCR 2024 – Breaking down Barriers in Imaging to Elevate Convergence for Radiology Communities.

At RANZCR 2024, AGFA HealthCare is excited to participate in this year’s gathering, themed “a gathering under the stars”, to highlight the power of modern healthcare technologies and their convergence opportunities. The 74th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists’ (RANZCR) has the aim to learn from First Nations people and develop beyond the traditional realms of clinical disciplines – looking for a vision and shared purpose for quality health care now and into the future. For 2024, this annual event will be held from 17 – 19 October 2024 on the lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation in Boorloo (Perth).

This year’s event encourages RANZCR members to “gather on country” to collaborate, learn and share knowledge within the radiology community – harnessing best practices and viewpoints and outwardly pioneering to improve the delivery of patient care. This national anchor on clinical convergence lends itself to firm requirements for supporting technologies, a market demand that RANZCR accommodates in its technical exhibition, which is supported by the some of the biggest names in Imaging IT, and runs for the duration of the show.

Naturally, AGFA HealthCare will be ready to demonstrate clinical collaboration with the very latest Enterprise Imaging (EI) innovations. Delegates will experience how EI facilitates location-agnostic image management, frictionless near real-time access to images, hassle-free collaboration, and increased confidence to clinical imaging practices. Our cutting-edge technology creates a unified Imaging Health Record™ (IHR), which supports healthcare institutions to achieve their organizational goals – and enabling clinical collaboration in inter-site patient pathways, across city, health board and even state boundaries. As a result, Enterprise Imaging’s high levels of interoperability and autonomy offers distinct improvements to a radiologist’s work-life balance, helping to secure a “life in flow” for the clinical community.

Jamie Osmond, Regional President for ASPAC, comments:

“As Australia continues to strive towards medical advancements, particularly around radiology convergence, AGFA HealthCare still stands tall as a market contender. By providing near-real-time access to images, powerful diagnostic and AI tools, and inter-site enhanced connectivity, we can be bold in how we are enabling ‘imaging without barriers’ across the country. Once again honouring the event theme, we support RANZCR’s spirit in creating an intertwined, astutely networked community of learning, autonomy, diligence and trust within that incredible entity, Radiology.”
