AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging

UKIO24 is open!

The UK radiology community woke up to UKIO 24 this morning. As the event opened its doors, delegates are set to experience excellent clinical panels and innovation sessions while gaining cutting-edge insights from industry vendors.

Supporting these requirements, and ready to showcase at the event, AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Platform offers near-real-time access to images, powerful diagnostic and Artificial Intelligence tools, smart workflows that enable seamless sharing between sites, enhanced collaboration and more. Radiologists can increase their productivity and work-life balance, while focusing on what matters most – diagnosing and treating patients, and a “life in flow.”

Today, in the first of our Education Sessions, Clinical Solutions Consultant Paige Miller hosts “Image access and Workflow Sharing in UK Imaging Networks”, using a live system to show how expertise across a network can be accessed and how image sharing can improve the delivery of patient care.  Thank you for your commitment Paige!

This afternoon, we are excited for Lee Storey, Support and Managed Services Manager, to deliver our second session at 15:10. He will host “Image Streaming Technology, Radiology Productivity and Data Security”, providing an overview of new technologies  and how they can improve efficiency in radiology. Lee’s extensive experience in this field enables him to discuss image-streaming in radiology, and the importance of balancing increased access to images with appropriate security and governance.

Coming up tomorrow at 11:10, Dr Nick Spencer, Radiologist & Chief Clinical Information Officer, will also be showing the Peer Learning Tool, which supports clinical reporters, Radiology Education and Learning Meetings and the Candour process. Following Nick, at 16:45, delegates will hear from Dr Anjum Ahmed (Chief Medical Officer), for the Digital Solutions in Radiology Practice case study session where he will present “Cancer Care Pathways and the Impact of AI – Multi-Centre Case Study”.
